MP3 Skype Recorder

Recording a conversation can have many benefits. If you can not remember what someone said or if you need some proof of his statements, you can access the recording immediately. Judging by its name, MP3 Skype Recorder's functionality should be clear. It can record any Skype conversation, even conferences. Due to its simple design, you only need to click a button to start recording.

The application is free and its setup package is roughly 2 and a half Mb large. It works on Windows XP, Vista and Win 7 without needing too many resources. You will need at least the 2.0 version of .NET Framework installed. If you do not have it, the setup wizard will download and install it automatically.

The application needs to run at the same time with Skype. While talking, you can start recording the conversation at any time, by clicking the Record button, on MP3 Skype Recorder's interface. You may choose a recording mode, like mono, stereo or joint stereo and a different bit rate, by clicking a series of radio buttons, located on the same window. You can hit the Record button even before a conversation. This will just enable the software's main capability and it will record only when a conversation starts.

The recordings are saved as MP3 files, in a default folder, but you can select a different output path with a browsing option. A large Play button, next to the Record and Stop ones, will open the output folder in an explorer window, so you can reach the audio files immediately.
